Geoff Martino

Geoff Martino, a 15-year expert in cryptography and secure communications, is the Technical Director and Chief Technology Officer of Helm Point Solutions. Mr. Martino is responsible for driving the company’s technical vision – evolving cyber security solutions to support cross-industry collaboration with critical infrastructure and physical security services. He manages a portfolio that includes national cyber security programs, international critical infrastructure protection, and medium- and small-business cyber welfare. Prior to working with Helm Point Solutions, Mr. Martino served as Branch Manager and Software Development Manager for Leidos, where he led the technical execution and modernization of cryptographic solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) communications, provided leadership and technical guidance to over 150 software engineers, and developed performance measurement strategies for agile programs with Earned Value requirements.

Before taking leadership roles at Helm Point Solutions and Leidos, Mr. Martino worked as a project leader and embedded software engineer for Harris Corporation and Raytheon. In these technical roles, Mr. Martino developed specialized solutions for satellite networks, Software Defined Radios (SDR), and network security appliances. He developed key management and network management software for secure mobile communications devices and has taught training courses in embedded cryptographic development.

Mr. Martino combines a technical engineering background in secure communications with a passion for strategic business growth and performance management. He has helped implement agile development practices and has worked with government and contractor industry leaders to refine the DoD agile acquisition process. He has also supported the FIRST robotics program, helping high school students learn about science, technology, and life as an engineer. Mr. Martino holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Mississippi State University and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from University of Maryland University College.

Gerry Beatley

Mr. Beatley graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. After graduation, Mr. Beatley obtained his CPA certificate while spending six years with a National Public Accounting firm. His time was divided between the audit and consulting departments, where he worked with small to midsize firms in a range of industries.

After public accounting, Mr. Beatley was Controller of a publicly traded REIT. He then decided to use his background in accounting and finance to enter the recruiter profession. He joined Don Richard Associates (DRA), the leading Accounting and Financial recruiting firm for permanent and temporary placement in the Washington DC area at that time. Mr. Beatley spent almost fifteen years with DRA, with the last ten as CEO, President and shareholder. Recently, Mr. Beatley spent two years as the Director of Executive Search for Anderson Knight, a boutique recruiting firm for Accounting and Financial professionals in the Washington DC area.

Mr. Beatley has experience unlike many other recruiters.
